Praying for Ukraine

O God, to whom Mercy and forgiveness belong.

Hear our prayers on behalf of your people in Ukraine.

Lord, your own Son was delivered into the hands of the wicked, yet he prayed for his persecutors and overcame hatred with the blood of the cross. Relieve the sufferings of the people of Ukraine. Grant them peace and a renewed faith in your protection and care. Protect them all from any form of violence and aggression.  Keep them from the weapons of hate and restore to them tranquility and peace. This we ask through our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever, Amen.
