4th Grade

Welcome to Saint Paul School fourth grade! With the transition to upper elementary, students will be encouraged to think, analyze problems, and make connections more deeply than in the younger grades. Our curriculum will build on their prior knowledge with a focus on division and fractions, the history and geography of the United States, and strategies to increase reading comprehension and vocabulary. Students will read and write daily. Twenty-first century skills will be developed with STREAM (Science, Religion, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities that challenge students to problem solve and work cooperatively with others. Integrated throughout the curriculum will be a focus on developing the whole child, academically, socially, and spiritually.
